MABUHAY! indeed... every August for the past 20 years...our group COMBAT has been hosting races for both downhill and cross-country in Cagayan de Oro...XC has always had a lot of participants ranging from 300-400 riders and around 40% would be locals.....this year was the biggest # of participants in downhill...from around 20-30 DH participants last year came 60-70 participants this year from all over the Philippine islands...don't really know the exact head count cause i joined the race... =D mountain biking is fast growing hear because its now easier to get the right gear unlike 5years ago...hehehehe... haven't uploaded any pics for this year but hear are a few pics from last years DH race... http://luigimarabe.pinkbike.com/album/old-photos/
